Vintage BLACK AIREDALE TERRIER DOG Cast Iron DOORSTOP. Art Deco design, dog is proudly standing with his tail up. Not marked , but likely made by HUBLEY. Nicely made and detailed, measures approx. 8-1/4″ high, 7-1/2″ wide from tail to nose, 3-1/2 wide at the widest part (back legs). Not perfect, but still a nice piece to add to your collection! Here we have a rare vintage cast iron doorstop, which is an antique 1930s HUBLEY Wire Hair Fox Terrier Airedale Dog Door Stop. A heavy cast iron decorative door stop made by Hubley, probably sometime circa early 1930’s. It is cast to depict a terrier in shades of tan, brown and black. Shows paint wear and patina consistent with age. In very good structural shape, very solid and sturdy. Stands 8-1/2″ tall and 8″ long and 4 wide. Weighs about 5.12 pounds without packaging.
