Antique Hubley #329 “Apple Blossom” Cast Iron Door Stop. 1930’s vintage original Hubley piece. An example of this doorstop is shown in “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith on page 54. In very good condition with some minor paint loss & chipping. Original paint, has not been touched up. Marked on the back with the number 329 and “Hubley” in block letters. Antique Cast Iron Doorstop Dutch Girl Holding Apple
Offered for sale is a beautiful Cast Iron doorstop of a Dutch girl holding an apple. I do not know who the maker was as there are no markings. As you can see by the pictures, she is very old. The paint appears to be original. The paint is chipped in many places. It appears that something was attached to the back and it left a white spot. The doorstop is heavy and weighs about 6.5 lbs. She measures about 6 1/2″ tall and 4″ wide. Please view the pictures to judge condition. I included pictures of front, back, both sides, top and bottom.
