Orig 1930s Cast Iron Bobby Jones Golfer Studio Doorstop Decorative Art Statue

Antique 1930s Cast Iron Decorative Art Statue. Trophy marked as follows. Wonderful old multi color painted surface. Very rare hard to find piece made to commemorate. His winning of the’Grand Slam’ in 1930. Whimsical big head golfer in knickers and bowtie. Fabulous piece to proudly display in your collection. Backside hard to read, two words. First we can not make out, second is studio. These were originally made into ashtray by bolting. An ashtray onto the front, this appears to have never. Please view all twelve pictures to appreciate the piece. Exhibits some minor wear associated with age and use. Cast iron decorative art weighs approximately 5 lb 6 oz. Measures approximately 1 1/2″ deep by 6 1/4″ wide by 12 tall. Piece sits upright fine but would tip over if used as doorstop. Wonderful scarce rare hard to find original old piece. Check our store for more unique and unusual items. Available for private inspection by appointment. Please view all pictures for more information and to judge condition for yourself. Exhibits some minor wear with age and use. Appears to us to be in original old painted surface, never made into ashtray but its life was spent as a cast iron decorative art statue.
