Lion Antique Cast Iron Doorstop. This pieces gives you strength, power & royalty feelings, it is a classic! 3/16″x 1/8″ in lower left area, some splits in the cast iron. I love the entire look of this piece, the lions mane is incredible, the overall patina & multi-color tones of the aged iron is superb! This could be used as a bookend. The small vertical rod on the backside I trimmed off about 1/4 inch to allow this to stand straight & stable. Perfect for any collection or display with any decor, it is a statement piece! Rare and original, ca1920s Cast Iron Figural Doorstop or single Bookend in the form of Nude Woman. This very rare, full figure Naked Woman Doorstop / Bookend measures approx. 6 tall and 2 1/2 wide at the base. The Doorstop / Bookend is a full figure depiction of a nude Woman lying on her back with her lower body and legs supported by her hands in an upright position. This outstanding, original Figural Doorstop / Bookend is in very good condition – there are no breaks, cracks, damage or repairs of any kind to the figure. The original paint is approx 80%+ intact with some scattered nicks to the paint as can be seen in the scans below. Antique 5 pound Cast Iron Cat Doorstop or Bookend Original Finish

Cat Doorstop or Bookend. Measures 6″ high with a base measurement of 2.50″ x 2.50. This was cast as one piece without seams or screws. The details are excellent. Portions of its original paint finish has worn away and other portions of the original paint is faded. You can still see the green eyes, a red lip and white on the chest, ears and parts of the legs. The underside shows a thin layer of green felt. The right ear shows a small chip and the flat backside shows a rough finish. I could find no makers marks. Heavy enough (five pounds) to be used as a bookend or doorstop. I’ve attached photos for you to further evaluate condition and authenticity. Please consider these photos as part of my overall condition observations and if more photos are needed let me know and Ill gladly send them your way. I also invite questions and reply the same day. If I made any mistakes in this listing they were honest ones and not meant to mislead you.
