I believe it is a Hubley, after listing this I was informed by a collector it is not a Hubley. Vintage Hubley Cast Iron German Shepard Dog Doorstop, Circa 1930’s, All Original
Here is a beautiful Vintage Hubley Cast Iron German Shepard Dog Doorstop. A large flat-head screw secures both halves of the castings. A good portion of the original paint is still in place, however most of the paint is missing on the under side of the Dog. I looked over the entire body, and could not find any identification marks, but my research indicates that this old boy was manufactured by Hubley. He is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks or damage of any kind. He measures 9 1/2″ x 8 7/8″ tall, and weighs in at five pounds. This Cast Iron Doorstop will be a great addition to your collection, or look awesome doing what he was trained to do… Holding open that old screen door.
