Antique Cast Iron SANTA CLAUS Figure Doorstop Painted Christmas Door Stop 15 Vtg. This item is used and in good vintage shape with just some normal use and age wear (see pictures). It weighs about 6.9 pounds on my scale and stands about 15 inches tall. It definitely has some paint wear in various spots (see pictures). The edges also appear to have a little white paint scuffs from a wall it was standing against. Please look at the pictures carefully. You get exactly what is pictured. CARRYING LOTS OF TOYS FOR GOOD LITTLE GIRLS AND BOYS. GREAT DETAIL (CHECK OUT THAT BEARD) AND A VERY SMOOTH CASTING. ALL ORIGINAL OLD PAINT IN A RED, FADED SILVER-GRAY, AND BLACK COLOR PALETTE. THE COLOR AND SURFACE PATINA ARE SUBLIME. HONEST PAINT WEAR ATTESTS TO ITS OLD AGE AND LOVING USE. VERY SUBSTANTIAL AND HEAVY WEIGHING IN AT SEVEN JOLLY POUNDS. Antique hubley cast iron. Santa Claus doorstop salesman sample
Antique hubley cast iron. Santa Claus doorstop salesman sample. Very heavy small salesman sample Santa Claus door stop. Has the identifying numbers 231 on the bottom which identified it as a Hubley 5 1/2 in tall 2 and 1/2 in wide very heavy. Paint is flaking off and you can see the gold pot metal where the paint is missing. Very good condition for its age which is either 1915 or 1919 I can’t tell a difference between the 5 and a 9. Look close where the paint is missing you can see the gold pot metal underneath. There also seems to be other areas with numbers on the bottom but my eyesight is too poor to read them.
