Antique Cast Iron BOSTON TERRIER Dog Doorstop Door Stop w collar EXCELLENT PAINT

I have up for sale a wonderful vintage / antique cast iron Boston Terrier Dog Doorstop. Excellent Original Paint and original rhinestone studded leather collar. This is an in between size , not the largest version and not the smallest. It weighs approx 5 lbs 13 ounces and is a roughly 9-1/2″ long and 9″ tall. This is about as nice as it gets condition wise. The coloration of the paint is very nice – more appealing than most. It is not signed and there are a few different companies that produced this type of Boston Terrier. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. Vintage 12 Cast Iron Scottie Dog Hitching Post Door Stop ABC collar

Vintage 12 tall Cast Iron Scottie Dog Hitching Post Door Stop ABC collar. Cute and heavy Scottish Terrier Dog cast iron hitching post top with threaded spot inside to attatch to a post, not sure of size? The estate where this came from was using it as a door stop. He has “ABC” on two sides of his collar. Some visible rust, nothing rusted through, very rusty inside past the threaded area because it looks like that part was never painted. One tiny pencil tip size spot hole, which was probably how this piece was made (see photo). No damage or repairs. Not sure of age, could be 40 years old or 75 years old, not sure. Very heavy, weighs almost 9 pounds. Please view all the pictures as they are part of the description. We will consider reasonable offers, anything less than reasonable will be rejected. RARE Antique Boston Terrier LEFT FACING Cast Iron Dog Statue Doorstop NOT A HUBLEY! We were contacted by an Expert Collector of Hubley items, who informed us that this doorstop is Not an Authentic Hubley. We want to be fair and truthful in our postings, so we are making changes to update the info as we know it now And, Obviously we are reducing the price as it is Not a Hubley design, but it is still in the Antique range, as far as we can tell, so it is a valuable piece. The information that we now have is that Many companies copied the success of the Hubley company and put out their Own versions of the popular items. It seems that there were too many companies to even keep track of but many of their work has survived, as we can see by this piece. Here we have a RARE Antique Cast Iron Boston Terrier LEFT FACING Dog Doorstop in great physical shape. There are No connector screws that we can see, it looks like the seams were welded together. The paint is original and worn in all the right places. This guy weighs 4 pounds, 9.5 ounces. The seams are very tight and his paint shows his age. His SIZE: 7 1/2 ” LONG, X 6 7/8 ” HIGH. ++++++++++++++++ Note: All items come from a Smoke FREE home but, we do have cats!
