Original Antique Hubley Cast Iron Sitting Dachshund Wiener Dog Doorstop

Acquired from an estate. Believed to be Hubley. Dimensions are approximately 8″ tall and 12″ long. The 2 original screws securing the two sides are solidly in place, providing a tight fit. Very light paint loss. This is about as nice of an antique door stop as you can find. Great addition to your collection. This excellent and RARE example of early American cast iron is priced to sell. Mint condition pieces go for 2k+. Hubley of Lancaster Pennsylvania is one of the most respected, oldest, and desired manufacturers of early American cast iron. Hubley Dachshunds are highly sought after by collectors. Strong feeling piece with tight lines. There is significant wear and the cast iron base of this doorstop is visible in small areas (pictured). It adds a pleasing aesthetic of Americana to the piece. Additionally, this Hubley still features its original paint and still beautifully displays the red in the eyes and on the collar that make this piece pop.
