Could “GR” stand for Grace Raynor of Hubley? Markings: PAT PENDING on one wheel. The number “6” is stamped near another wheel. Marked “GR” and “N17″. (nose of horse to back of back wheel). (table to tip of man’s hat). (at bottom of door stop). Weighs approximately: about 4 pounds. Prices at the Post Office have gone up! Condition: Nice old antique. Missing Reins for the Horses. On another listing, I saw one with a Strap at the top, so I do not know if this is missing that strap or not. Areas where paint is worn off. Art Deco architectural geometric doorstop Bradley Hubbard, original paint, 1930

Doesn’t get more Art Deco than this. I had a matched pair of these. It is a rarely seen piece. Cast iron by Bradley Hubbard, their customary logo on the back. Paint is original, showing some general age-related wear. Base has areas of rust so the piece clearly got it’s bottom wet. It sits flat and stable. 7 1/2 inches tall; 4 1/2 inches wide; 2 5/8 inches deep. Weighs 4 1/4 pounds.
