Beautiful antique detailed Cast-Iron Lion Doorstop – c 1860s. Very decorative detailed English Lion. A 19th Century Cast Iron Lion Rampant Door Porter with the lion resting on a waisted sockle. Cast with scroll decoration and cartouche, finished with a plinth base. Unusual and a great gift for a collector of antiques or doorstops.. Antique Cast Iron Doorstop Native American Indian Totem Pole Beaver Door Stop

Antique doorstops cast in the figure of a North American totem are scarce. This is the figure of an animal with what we would describe as upturned paws, small ridges of teeth on the lower lip (not easily seen but can be felt when touched), pointed ears, and a tail between its legs. We believe it is either a beaver or a wolf what do you think? There are no breaks or missing pieces to the doorstop. The original paint is in shades of cream/yellow, red, green, and black. There is overall original paint loss (see photos). There is also a dash of white or ivory house paint at the base (again, please see photo). The door stop stands approximately 6 1/8 inches high and we believe it was cast in the 1920s, although there are no foundry marks on it. The back and bottom are unpainted and unadorned. Littco Cast Iron Fisherman Bookend Doorstop Old Salt Gloucester Set/2 Nautical

Set of 2 Antique Littco Cast Iron Old Salt Gloucester Fisherman Bookends. They depict the traditional Cape Cod Gloucester fisherman in yellow rain gear carrying a net. Each bookend stands approximately 6-3/8 inches tall, 2-3/4 inches wide and 2-1/4 inches deep. Each weighs approximately 3 lbs 4 oz. They are in very good original condition with minimal paint loss considering their age. Paint is still bright and colorful. Rare Sherwin Wiliams Paint Advertising Chameleon Lizard Doorstop Cast Iron

This is a beautiful Cast Iron Metal Advertising Doorstop. The Sherwin Williams Company which started in the 1870’s used the cast iron piece for advertising. They would give these away as promotions. The bottom is marked, The Sherwin Williams Co. Paint & Varnish Maker. It is in nice condition. The tail is bent up slightly. Even with a lot of the paint worn off it has a beautiful look. It measures approximately 8 1/2″ long the feet 5″ wide 1 1/2 tall. It also has a little bit of surface rust.
