This is a beautiful victorian cast iron doorstop in the form of a lighthouse with waves crashing on the rocks below. It measures 9 3/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches across base. Unbastardized, untouched and undisturbed. This is the real McCoy and not a more recent contemporary facsimile or worthless reproduction. The original painted surfaces and their distressed quality, suffering paint loss and a fatigued finish, is entirely congruent with its original, authentic, honest antique pedigree.
