RARE Antique ORIGINAL Spencer Guillford’PELICAN’ Cast Iron DOORSTOP Door Stop

ORIGINAL ANTIQUE SPENCER GUILFORD CT CAST IRON PELICAN DOORSTOP. This is just a great original piece. This is one of those pieces I would love to add to my personal collection but truthfully, I dont collect door stops and think this is a piece that belongs in a real collection. This is one of the rarest doorstops created by Spencer Guilford. Standing 14 1/2 inches tall and measuring about 7 inches from tip of beak to tail it is really a very good example. Marked at the pelican’s ankle with the Spencer Guilford CT mark, the original paint is still incredibly strong. There is some areas of loss with the lighter under paint showing through. There is also some discoloration to the white of the body but again, nothing too bad. Pictures are a great indication of the quality and condition. Do your own research. Dont miss this chance. Original Antique Vintage 1900-1910 HUBLEY Cast Iron FROG Doorstop Garden Statue

Early American HUBLEY cast iron frog doorstop in good condition. The characteristics of the doorstop conforms to all criteria of the early Hubley doorstops. Measures 5 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ x 3 tall and weighs around 5 1/4 pounds. Nice patina and smooth casting. There is some imperfection on the nose (see pics), however it does not make him any less charming. Sweet Vintage Cast Iron Hubley Scotty Scottie Scottish Terrier Doorstop Bookend

This heavy, full-bodied doorstop or bookend was probably made in the 1930’s and has its magnificent, original paint with a traditional black coat, very expressive eyes, a vivid red collar and red mouth, and a gold buckle on the collar. The mold detail is very crisp. This vintage collectible is unmarked, but is in excellent, vintage condition with minimal paint loss and very minor wear. I do not see any damage to the metal.
