Vintage Cast Iron Doorstop USA Spread Wing Eagle Standing Two American Flags. For Your Old Ptriotic Cast Iron Doorstop Collection-EagleFlags1. Description: A vintage painted cast iron doorstop cast in the form of an American eagle standing with his wings spread open. There are to American flags emanating from the top of his head. There are the letters USA below its feet along the edge of the base. The eagle is looking to its right with the flags forming a V above its head. The doorstop is painted in green color with golden highlights throughout. The base of the door stop is red in color while the flags are in red, white and blue. The piece is very well cast as you can see. Look at the details of the feathers in the wings and the body. Look at the details on the eagle’s face where the bill and eyes depict a stern look. The piece, which is probably no more than twenty or thirty years old, is all original and retaining all of its original paint with minimal losses. There are a couple of small paint chips on the edge of the base and some rust spots on the bottom of the base. This is a nice size piece and weighs over three pounds. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of the description. Date: Uncertain, but most likely sometime in the late 1900s or early 2000s. Size: Measures 7 3/4″ at its highest, 7 3/4″ at its widest, and the base is 5 3/4″ by 2 1/4″. The doorstop weighs over three pounds and four ounces. Nice old Antique Cast Iron Eagle Kasper Foundry Elyria, probably a doorstop, perhaps a windmill weight, pretty cool regardless. Nice surface, sweet form and details, measures about 7.25 tall by about 13 wide. No date and not something I could find anything like. Antique Architectural Salvage Americana Cast Iron Eagle Flagpole Holder Doorstop

Antique cast iron or perhaps cast brass flagpole mount, circa early 1900s or so. Made to mount on the side / ledge of a building and hold a flag pole. Has four mounting holes on the bottom. Original wing nuts on back once held a rear bracket to secure the pole, but that piece is no longer present. Wing nuts are stiff but still turn. Would also work well as a door stop. Measures approximately 11″ wide x 7-1/4″ tall x 5-1/2 deep at the bottom. The eagle itself is approximately 4-1/2″ tall x 5″ wide at the wings. Weighs approximately 7 pounds, 5 ounces.
