I have collected original cast iron doorstops for 40 years. NONE of the ones I own and will be listing are reproductions or repainted. Antique Cast Iron BOSTON TERRIER Dog Doorstop Door Stop w collar EXCELLENT PAINT

I have up for sale a wonderful vintage / antique cast iron Boston Terrier Dog Doorstop. Excellent Original Paint and original rhinestone studded leather collar. This is an in between size , not the largest version and not the smallest. It weighs approx 5 lbs 13 ounces and is a roughly 9-1/2″ long and 9″ tall. This is about as nice as it gets condition wise. The coloration of the paint is very nice – more appealing than most. It is not signed and there are a few different companies that produced this type of Boston Terrier. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. Antique Cast Iron Gnome, Orig. Paint, Excellent Condition

This Doorstop is Not made by Hubley it is made by a company called Nuydea and has a Patent Date of Feb. It is a rare and special doorstop in design because its a 2 piece doorstop that has different front part and a different rear part. It weighs 5.9 lbs, its 10 inches in height, the width is 5 3/16, there are plenty of reproductions out there and one way to tell if its real is to make sure the hat reads PAT. Antique Hubley Gnome Cast Iron Doorstop, Orig. Paint, Excellent Condition, L@@K

This doorstop is a Gnome carrying a lantern in one hand and a set of keys in the other. It measures apx 10 tall and apx 5 at the widest point. It has a patent pend mark on the back. It is in really excellent condition for its age. I dont see any cracks to the iron. It retains the original painted finish, with some wear as you can see in the photos.
