Antique Cast Brass & Iron Gargoyle Fish Door Stop 10 x 12 tall

This is an antique gargoyle fish shaped door stop made from cast brass with a heavy iron base. No maker’s marks etc. In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. No damage to the metal ware from what I can see. The iron base is tarnished slightly. Could do with a good polish. Please see pictures for more details and visual confirmation of condition. 12 inches tall and approx. 10 inches x 2 inches on the base. My stock ref: U9. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter. MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS. In the title or description it means. Antique Anne Fish Bathing Girls #250 Cast Iron Doostop, Hubley. This doorstop was an estate sale find and is near mint condition, considering its age. Minor paint loss is some spots, but overall it is a vibrant and exceptional piece. It is possibly one of the best I have ever seen, considering how old it is. Also, Fish doorstops would be numbered on the back. Bathing Girls would have the number 250 in the the Fish doorstop series. I typically try to have minimal offer price set at half of what an item is listed for. Some items may have a much lower minimum offer set. Feel free to ask questions. There are not many of these floating around out there with original paint and in such great condition. The girls measure about 11″ tall and about 5.25″ wide across the base.
