Cast Iron Flying Witch Door Stop and Boot Scraper made by the Albany Foundary Co. One of the ears of the middle mount has been broken off. Other then the broken mount is in pretty good shape considering the age. Still retains a tiny portion of the green and yellow paint. Feel free to ask any questions. Green Cast Iron Flying Witch Door Stop & Boot Scraper Albany Foundary Co. RARE

Made by Albany Foundry Company on Van Rensselaer’s Island between late 1800’s and early 1900’s and up for sale is this rare flying witch on a broom cast iron boot scraper and door stop. It does have some areas that the paint is coming off. The piece itself has no cracks or chips or damage besides the bit of rust and the green that has come off and should hold a many more doors open and scrape a many more boots for years to come. The lighting highlights the flaws and yes they are there but overall don’t look so severe in person. Its such a fabulous piece that is rare and doesn’t pop up for sale very often. VERY RARE & HTF Cast Iron Flying Witch Door Stop & Boot Scraper Green Patina

Made by Albany Foundry Company on Van Rensselaer’s Island between late 1800’s and early 1900’s and up for sale is this very rare and hard to find flying witch on a broom cast iron boot scraper and door stop with a green patina that may be oxidation or some sort of paint, I’m really not sure. It does have some areas that it is coming off or has been scraped off. I think it adds character to it. The piece itself has no cracks or chips or damage besides the bit of rust and the green that has come off and should hold a many more doors and scrape a many more boots for years to come.. The lighting highlights the flaws and yes they are there but overall don’t look so severe in person. Its such a fabulous piece that is rare and hard to find and is highly sought after by collectors.
