Rare Antique vtg c1900s FROG with Open Mouth DOORSTOP Cast Iron ORIGINAL PAINT

Rare and wonderful early 1900s-1920s cast iron Frog with open mouth doorstop. About 4″ long x 2-3/4″ tall. Authentic and old with original paint that shows normal wear from age and use. All of the paint is original, including the silver. There are sparse, tiny, white paint specks splattered on the surface if you look really closely. The paint on this frog is the best I have seen yet. It is an toad color paint job that has aged well and shows some cast iron through where. Every frog I have ever seen was painted different. This one has paint so thick that the paint has cracked over time. A great authenic 1800’s decoration that would add beauty and charm to your home or office. These were used to hold a door open or just decorations. Guaranteed to NOT be new or a reproduction. It is 4 1/2″ wide and 5 1/2″ long. It is 3 tall. It is 4 1/2 pounds of cast iron. It measures 7 ½” wide at the back legs by 6″ long and the height to the frog’s eyes are just under 2. Over the years this finely detailed Frog has developed an nice old iron patina.
