Citca 1938 Kings Genius Standing Stallion cast doorstop. Beautiful unusual vintage original circa 1938 cast iron doorstop. This is the world famous King’s Genius Saddlebred Stallion. This Large size doorstop still retains its all original black painted features. This heavy solid piece doorstop is wedge style and flat back. It is signed and made by Virginia Metalcrafters in the USA. Also reads Copyrighted- 1938 Rife-Loth Corp. Good original condition with nice patina. Measures 12″ tall x 13.75″ long x 3 wide. This is a fabulous Cast Iron Doorstop featuring the ASB American Saddlebred Stallion, King’s Genius, born in 1924, sired by Bourbon King and out of Princess Eugenia. King’s Genius was a influential Saddlebred sire, sometimes called “The Greatest Show Horse of All Time”, contributing to the breed in the bloodlines of generations of champion Saddlebred horses. He earned his own champion status as well, including being named 1933 World Champion Five Gated Saddle Horse. He is the grandsire of CH Wing Commander and was a three time great-grandsire to Supreme Sultan. This doorstop is in very good condition with good color and nice aged patina. He earned his own champion status as well, including being named 1933 World Champion Five Gated Saddle Horse. Grandsire of CH Wing Commander and was a three time great-grandsire to Supreme Sultan. This doorstop is in very good condition with good color and nice aged patina. There is some paint loss around the base of the hooves and the base itself. There is a tiny piece of green felt stuck on the front base. The base front reads “Kings Genius”. Waynesboro, VA and the numbers 18-1 are inscribed on the back of his neck.
