This is a Rare Variation of this Style. John & Nancy Smith Book Example. Doorstop Has it’s Original Multi-Colored Paint and is in Excellent Condition. Could Use a Professional Cleaning. Antique Cast Iron Doorstop Dutch Girl Holding Apple

Offered for sale is a beautiful Cast Iron doorstop of a Dutch girl holding an apple. I do not know who the maker was as there are no markings. As you can see by the pictures, she is very old. The paint appears to be original. The paint is chipped in many places. It appears that something was attached to the back and it left a white spot. The doorstop is heavy and weighs about 6.5 lbs. She measures about 6 1/2″ tall and 4″ wide. Please view the pictures to judge condition. I included pictures of front, back, both sides, top and bottom. Antique Girl Holding Dress Bradley & Hubbard Cast Iron Doorstop Rare Style

“Girl Holding Dress” With Rubber Bumpers. Full Figure Bradley & Hubbard #7798: 1920s. 13″ x 6 3/4″. Marked With The Bradley & Hubbard Logo. Shown in the doorstop reference book by John and Nancy Smith. Condition; no breaks, damage or cracks. I can’t tell for sure but it is most likely that this piece has had a re-paint at some time in its life. The paint although exact to the original paint layout is just so pristine it makes me think that it can’t be original. Either that or it was kept in a closet for its entire life and never seen the light of day! Wonderful color, detail and just a lovely soft yellow and blue. Return & Satisfaction Policy.
