Solid and heavy weight cast iron with bright colors and no touch ups to the original paint. Figure is 3-D like. Properly signed B&H stamp on back as shown. The best one I have seen although not many show up as these are scarce. Measures 8″ high, 3 7/8″ wide and 3 deep front to back. Just a wonderful piece for the serious collector. We are offering a rare and desirable circa 1920’s figurative cast iron doorstop in the form of the profile view of a forward facing begging rabbit. Alert stance and expression, sits on hind legs on an embossed grassy base. Very finely cast with superb attention to detail and beautifully painted in realistic polychromed colorful finish. Marked on the back B. “, Bradley & Hubbard, and with the number “7800. Stands 15 3/8″ tall and measures 8 1/4″ across the base. In very good original condition overall. Paint is all original, absolutely no touch ups, restorations or alterations. No breaks, cracks or other issues to the metal.
