Antique Dog Doorstop Hubley Cast Iron Boston Bull Terrier Flat Head Screws 1920s

Antique circa 1920s to 1930s cast iron Hubley Boston Bull Terrier door stop with large flat head screws (not Philips head screws as found in the later reproductions). Piece is in overall very good to excellent condition with no breakages but with some oxidation and only a small amount of the original paint still remaining. Piece measures about 9 inches tall, about 8 1/2 inches long and about 4 inches wide. Piece weighs just over 7 pounds.

Cast Iron Cherub with Fruit In Rococo Designed Heavy Door Stop -VTG by 3 Hands

This vintage iron door stop features a beautiful and elaborate cherub holding fruit with scroll and motifs in a rococo style design. Made from cast iron and produced by the noteworthy California home decor and accessory design house, Three Hands Corporation, this door stop is gorgeous. The door stop measures 16.25 inches tall, by 8 inches wide, by 2.25 inches deep (thick), and is a heavy 7 lbs. The condition is very good with a few areas of wear typical with items of its age. Antique Cast Iron Doorstop Gray Colored Hawk Standing on Brown Perch

Antique Cast Iron Doorstop Hawk Standing on Brown Perch. For Your Antique Cast Iron Doorstop Collection-Hawk1. Description: A very nice antique cast iron doorstop. The doorstop is cast in the form of a hawk perched on what appears to be brown rock with large leaves next to it. The hawk is standing on the perch with his tail pointing down and its head looking slightly downwards. The hawk is gray in color with a yellow beak, yellow talons, and blackeyes. The base as well as the perch are colored in brown. The piece retains most of its original paint with some losses to the front of the beak, the edge of the base, and a few small spots throughout the body of the piece. The back of the doorstop has brown coloring and is stamped 78 at the bottom edge. A great looking piece worthy of a spot in your collection. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of the description. Date: Uncertain but most likely early to mid 1900s (early to mid 20th century). Size: Measures 6″ in height with the base measuring 4 1/8″ by 2 3/4. The piece weighs slightly over 2 pounds and one ounce. Marks: Marked with the stamped number “78” on the back at the bottom edge. Distinguishing Characteristics – Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice old doorstop in excellent condition and retaining most of its original paint. A beautiful piece which would display very well in your collection of doorstops. Condition: This doorstop is in very good condition with no breaks or repairs. It retains quite a bit of its original paint with some losses (estimated at better than 98%). Most of the paint losses are front of the beak and the edge of the base as well as additional minor paint losses throughout. The piece is a bit soiled and would probably benefit for a good cleaning. It does have some minor rust signs to the bottom of the base. It also lost one of the four round pieces of felt affixed to the bottom of the base. Be that as it may, the piece is just great looking and would display very well in your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information. Vintage Cast Iron Pug Statue Heavy Door Stop Sculpture Display

A well-modeled and very charming pug in cast iron, lying down with paws in front and tucked in behind, head up with alert expression. The bottom has felt to protect table surfaces. It has come unglued as shown in pictures. Could easily be reattached – I’ll leave that up to the owner’s discretion. Some minor paint missing and dusty – I have not tried to clean in any way – and will leave that up to the owner’s taste. Please check out all photos for complete description and measurements.
