Antique Genuine Hubley # 193 Spanish Girl Lady Cast Iron Doorstop Original Paint

For sale is a RARE! Antique HUBLEY # 193 SPANISH GIRL/dancing LADY CAST IRON DOORSTOP with brilliant ORIGINAL paint throughout. Her shawl and fan has the best flamboyant colors of its period, yet has been greatly aged with time. There is a factory number “193” on the backside, a good indication that this is a genuine HUBLEY piece. See Reference on Page 189 of The Doorstop Book. It is found in a New England estate. It measures 9″ tall and 5″ wide at the base. There are some minor paint loss here and there commensurate with age. Please check all photos and zoom in to see details. Vintage Cast Iron Lady with Hat Doorstop

Available is a vintage cast iron doorstop in the form of a lady holding a hat. It measures 11-3/4″ high x 6-1/4″ wide and just under 2-1/4 deep at the base and is quite heavy weighing over 5 pounds. It may have been repainted as the dress in particular looks a little streaky but the colors are still quite charming. There are some chips as shown in close-up and the inside bears a number 25 mark.
