Rare Antique Large Heavy Cast Iron Rooster Garden Barn Door Stop Folk Art Statue

Antique late 19th, early 20th c rare cast iron rooster statue. Possibly been barn door stop or garden statue. He stands a tall 22″ high and has a base of approx 10″. He weighs a hefty 35 lbs. Wonderful original rust patina. Inside has remains of 3 nails which would have been used to secure in the casting. Please use the zoom feature provided in order to enhance more detail of the item. Circa 1900 Cast Iron Rooster Doorstop. It had 3 screws along the side to hold it together. They were removed and filled in, and the seam was welded and ground down. Very well done, I might add. No disrespect to anyone, but they were not as nice as this one. Has its original patina. He stands 22″ tall and approximately 10″ at the base, and he weighs a hefty 30 lbs.
