There is some surface dirt present. Stamped on the back 973. No maker’s marks or foundry marks were observed. Vintage style BOSTON TERRIER Cast Iron Door Stop and Piggy Bank
This little but heavy Boston Terrier doorstop has lived with me for about 25 years. He will need a little clean up in his new home. I believe he is made of cast iron and is very expertly painted. He has nice markings, an ear cocked for doorbell ringing and sports a red collar with gold buckle. He stands 7″ tall and about 7″ long. Antique Girl Holding Dress Bradley & Hubbard Cast Iron Doorstop Rare Style
“Girl Holding Dress” With Rubber Bumpers. Full Figure Bradley & Hubbard #7798: 1920s. 13″ x 6 3/4″. Marked With The Bradley & Hubbard Logo. Shown in the doorstop reference book by John and Nancy Smith. Condition; no breaks, damage or cracks. I can’t tell for sure but it is most likely that this piece has had a re-paint at some time in its life. The paint although exact to the original paint layout is just so pristine it makes me think that it can’t be original. Either that or it was kept in a closet for its entire life and never seen the light of day! Wonderful color, detail and just a lovely soft yellow and blue. Return & Satisfaction Policy. Antique Cast Iron Owl Wedge Style Doorstop Original Paint
Very nice late 1800’s early 1900’s unbranded cast iron owl doorstop. The owl has excellent form and casting and still retains a good amount of the original paint. Paint shows crackle and there is some light rust which would be expected with a item of this age. Measures 11″ tall and 5″ wide at base. About Indiana Treasure Hunt.
