EARLY Antique 7lb Sitting CAT 10 tall DOORSTOP Paper Weight CAST IRON 1880s-90s

I have a few other cast iron doorstops and/or paper weights. Here is a very nice vintage cast iron 10 sitting cat doorstop. This weighs a bit over 7lbs unboxed. The paint has wear, but it’s not too bad really. I could not find any markings. There may be some under the felt, but I didn’t see any with what is exposed. I’ve seen this style doorstop listed as being from the 1880s-1890s or so. I’m not sure, but it without question has some age! Please see pics for more details. I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT. VOTE TO CHANGE THINGS! I USUALLY HAVE DIFFERENT CHOICES.

The paint is original, in very good condition, with a slight amount of rubbing and very minor chipping. It shows its age rather nicely, slightly soiled. Antique Cast Iron Art Doorstop -urn With Birds & Flowers- 6 1/2 Tall- Vg Paint

An antique cast iron doorstop, produced by the Connecticut Foundry Company, in 1929. It is an urn holding grapes and other fruit, with a pair of birds sitting atop the fruit, 6 1/2″ tall by 5 1/2″ wide. There is some very minor paint wear. Weight is 3 pounds, 3 ounces.
