Unusual Cast Iron Bull Cow Hand Painted Doorstop Door Stop. This one has a tail that is solid and straight down. This guy is full bodied. Painted brown and white. Has a large amount of the paint left. I was told it was a bank but there is no slot for coins. You don’t want to drop this on your toe. Weighs 6 pounds and 10 oz. Is a 2 piece design with a screw that holds the halves together. Constructed of cast iron. Is 7.75 inches long and 4 inches tall. Very cool door stopper. Unusual Antique Scotty Scottie Dog Cast Iron Doorstop Boot Scraper

You don’t see many like this one. This Scottie dog heavy cast iron piece has in on a mounting plate and is approx. 7 inches tall, 7.5 wide and 3.75 deep at deepest point. It has some paint wear, more on one side than the other, rust, oxidation, white paint spots, I think, and other wear typical for the age, but overall good condition. The paint on the Scotty looks layered on and to me is designed to give depth–almost like a thin plaster appearance of layers. The side that has the most wear appears to be rust spots with no paint visible on those spots. Weighs almost 4 pounds. Please use all of the pictures as part of the “as is” description. I assume this was left outside at some point by prior owner(s); thus, the condition but frankly it looks like it wasn’t that long because there is still a lot of what I think is original paint on the piece but I cannot be certain of that either. I’m not an expert on boot scrapers or metal per se so I welcome questions and comments. I don’t handle him a lot so that I don’t damage the exterior finish.
