RARE GREEN CAST IRON VARIANT FROG DOORSTOP COLLECTIBLE. This was a recent find that stopped me in my tracks. I’ve always loved these true antique cast iron frogs but this one has a very unique detail in the casting. Still present is the tadpole tail on this one of a kind doorstop collectible. I have not been able to source another one and fished through thousand of past auctions for an example. Would invite and most appreciate any info from other collectors on this special toad. Measures just under six inches in length head to tail and about 4-1/2 wide. Heavy old school cast iron. This one aims to please and would be a great addition to any collection. Multiple layers of frog green shown nicely in the pics. A dot cast iron application on the one under foot. Not sure if that was a foundry mark or other. All in all, no issues other than its a beauty.
