Antique/Vintage Rooster Farm Windmill Weight Hummer E 184 Cast Iron Door Stop. Sitting on a custom made wooden display base – door stop style, stamped Hummer E. Dimensions with stand: H 11.75″x L 10.5″x D 4 this vintage cast iron windmill weight is a Hummer rooster marked Hummer E184. Weight is just over 10 pounds. Produced by Elgin Wind Power and Pump Company in early 1900’s. It has a weathered paint finish with touches of red in the wattles/combs/tail feathers as photographed. Casting defects are also seen and photographed. This rooster has seen some sights. The 23 photos included represent the windmill weight being offered as well as its condition and are an integral part of this description. I try to leave no room for uncertainty. Original antique hand painted heavy cast iron figural windmill house doorstop

Up for sale is a stunning original antique solid cast iron figural door stop. It is beautifully painted by hand, has original paint, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The stop is in the form of a windmill structure and is made from very thick iron. It’s in great condition and measures 7 inches tall by 7 inches long by 2 1/2 inches thick. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Please make sure to look at all pictures very closely before purchasing, as most pieces in my shop are non refundable. Vintage Dempster Beatrice, Nebr Cast Iron Horse Windmill Weight Door Stop

Cast iron short tail horse. Has Dempster Beatrice, nebr on both sides of the horse. From research these horses are described as windmill weights or door stops & date back to the early 1900s. It looks like theres different sizes & styles. I see that some have holes through the shoulder, this one does not. The horse is approx. 12 long & 10 high. It shows wear, rust & some discoloration.
