Serpent Dauphin Koi Devil Fish. Old Prototype Figural Doorstop Decorative Art Statue. Cast iron with multi color painted surface. Weighs approximately 4 pounds 4 ounces. Measures approximately 12 1/8 tall. Reference photos next to 12 ounce can to judge size. Rare prototype of Spencer Foundry Guilford Conn doorstop. Base bottom is larger then normal spencer wedge style. Bottom appears more common weighted base style than wedge. Ref page 171’the doorstop book’ for photo of wedge design. Waves design in base thick rubber glued on bottom of doorstop. Piece is not marked unmarked as per spencer foundry. Please view all pictures for additional information. Many additional photos available upon request. Exhibits wear and tear throughout with age and use. Various areas of repaint throughout piece view all photos.
