Hubley Geodesic Art Deco Cat cast iron doorstop

This is a Hubley No. 308 cast iron cat doorstop, which is usually described as modernist, cubist, geodesic, and/or art deco. You will see these cats for sale in various colors and I don’t know which colors are actually original; but I have seen several that are black with white (antique white) highlights. The paint has worn off in places as would be expected for something made in the early 1900s. The first time I had this cat listed, there was quite a bit of dust, some white streaks/smears, and a milky residue on it. After going over it a few times with a damp cloth, the cat looks much better. Approximate dimensions: 9.875″ H x 4.75″ W x 3.625 D. Examine the photos carefully and make sure you are satisfied with the condition of the item prior to purchasing it.
