Rare Antique Original ROOSTER Marked #8232 Cast Iron Doorstop Mold 135lbs.. This is basically the HOLY GRAIL if you collect door stops. I have researched for the past month before listing these and have come up with nothing. They could be worth a ton more but with the process of single antique ones and the rarity of this piece I think my price is fair. You WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER, except for the other two auctions I have listed. Be sure to check them out. They came from a dealer in Vermont that had them in his closed store for the last 30 years. On with the details. It is extremely HEAVY at a solid 135lbs. This piece Measures 14″ tall by 13″ wide by 4 thick and all solid, not hollow one bit! . AGAIN, marked 8232 on the bottom. Has the original holes that would have been used. This is a rooster. This would have been a flat back doorstop. Not sure if it ever made it into production and not sure who produced with 4-digit numbers. I put a drop of liquid gold on it just to bring out it’s gorgeous look rather than it looking dull and old.
