Very rare, antique cast iron sailboat doorstop. 2 piece construction, green ocean base and red sailboat with white sails. 17 inches tall, base is about 8 1/4 inches long. Weighs about 4 lbs 5 oz. Good physical condition with some paint wear and light surface rust on base of sail and top of boat. Looks like original screw that holds the two pieces together may have been replaced. About 1/2 inch tip of boom at bottom of sail has broken off, not very noticeable unless you know it was supposed to be there. This is second of these I’ve listed. Both came from same Massachusetts estate. Great nautical / sailing décor piece or rare item for doorstop collector.
