ANTIQUE HUBLEY PHEASANT BY FRED EVERETT, made in Lancaster, Pa. Weighs 3 3/4 lbs. Measures 8 1/2″ tall and 7 1/4″ wide. Fred Everett’s signature appears right below the tail area. PHOTO TAKEN WITH FLASH Colors appear much brighter on photo. This door stop has been in our family for over 35 years, and has been stored, not displayed. Art Deco architectural geometric doorstop Bradley Hubbard, original paint, 1930

Doesn’t get more Art Deco than this. I had a matched pair of these. It is a rarely seen piece. Cast iron by Bradley Hubbard, their customary logo on the back. Paint is original, showing some general age-related wear. Base has areas of rust so the piece clearly got it’s bottom wet. It sits flat and stable. 7 1/2 inches tall; 4 1/2 inches wide; 2 5/8 inches deep. Weighs 4 1/4 pounds. Antique Cast Iron Cat Laying Down Heavy Doorstop Possibly Hubley Perfect Patina

Not marked, but I believe this could be a Hubley. Not all Hubley is marked. The patina is amazing, it has aged to absolute perfection!
