This wonderful vintage cast iron doorstop is Hubley’s right-facing Fox Terrier model from the 1920’s to 1930’s. It measures approximately 8 5/8″ long by 8 1/4″ high by 5 deep, and it weighs about 7 1/2 pounds. It has excellent detailed workmanship from the tip of his nose to his toes. Even the fur is three-dimensional! The hand painted eyes, ears and fur have a beautiful patina commensurate with age. Plus, the collar still has green paint remaining intact, which is a rarity! There are no cracks or other structural damage. The original factory paint is in wonderful condition with small chips (typical with this age of cast iron collectibles) as seen in the photos. This rarely seen condition is a must have for any cast iron or doorstop collector, and dog lovers too!
