This is a Hubley Cast Iron Cat. It is super cute and in great condition for its age. The eyes are not painted as in some examples. This was a yarn or string holder -therefore the hole near its nose. It looks great as a door stop though. It is heavy-I would estimate 5#s. It measures about 7 inches high by 3 1/2 inches width and 3 1/2 inches depth. Please examine the pictures for condition. The base does come off but I did not see any identifying marks on the inside. The back is stamped 124 and I think there is another number but I cant read it.
