Vintage antique Hubley cast iron English Irish Setter door stop GREAT PAINT

Here is an excellent example of an English or Irish Setter dog door stop in cast iron, made by Hubley of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Condition is superb, with excellent paint over 95% intact with a great original spotted paint job on this Setter. A few chips here and there, as shown in pictures. Old Antique I CROAK FOR THE JACKSON WAGON Cast Iron FROG Advertising DOORSTOP

Presented for your consideration is this neat antique doorstop (or paperweight). The doorstop is made of solid cast iron and is in the shape of a frog with raised lettering down its back. Reads I Croak For the Jackson Wagon. The Jackson Wagon was a model of wagon produced by the Austin, Tomilson & Webster Mfg. One of these wagons was used by P. Barnum for his circus, transporting Jumbo the Elephant. The wagon was also praised by Ulysses S. Austin, Tomilson & Webster shut down in 1911. This neat doorstop is guaranteed to be old and all original. Would make a great addition to any advertising or doorstop collection! Light wear from age and use. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Antique Hubley cat doorstop. This cast iron cat doorstop was made by Hubley Manufacturing Co. Is marked on the inside HUBLEY 302and has its original paint. Measures 9” high by 6-1/4” wide. It is in very good vintage condition with age showing and some normal paint wear from use. Would make a nice working doorstop or as an addition to a collection.
