This is a beautiful Cast Iron Metal Advertising Doorstop. The Sherwin Williams Company which started in the 1870’s used the cast iron piece for advertising. They would give these away as promotions. The bottom is marked, The Sherwin Williams Co. Paint & Varnish Maker. It is in nice condition. The tail is bent up slightly. Even with a lot of the paint worn off it has a beautiful look. It measures approximately 8 1/2″ long the feet 5″ wide 1 1/2 tall. It also has a little bit of surface rust.
