The tips of his ears have what appear to be foundry flaws (see photos). Based on other examples found on the internet, the paint appears to be original. Research indicates that it was made by the Dutka Liebl Foundry of Boston, Mass. And designed by famous Swedish artist sculptor Karl Frederick Skoog. Cast in the likeness of a beloved war hero named Stubby who became the first American War Dog Hero. It measures approximately 7 tall to the top of his ear x 8 long x 2 thick at the widest point on his back. It weighs 4 pounds and 6 ounces.
