Antique National Foundry “Cottage with Picket Fence” Cast Iron Door Stop. National Foundry design #32. Brightly colored piece showing a flower adorned cottage with picket fence. The three pickets on either side of the cottage identify this as the National Foundry design of this popular motif. The thatched roof version of this piece is shown in “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith on page 240. In very good condition with some paint wear, mainly to the base foreground & roof edge.
