This is for a very Large RARE Antique EASTERN SPECIALTY Co. “OLD SALT” Fisherman CAST IRON DOORSTOP. He stands just about 15 tall and weighs over 13 lbs. Research tells me there were 2 15 tall versions of him. One had the makers mark on the upper portion of the rock he’s standing on and the other has it very low and barely legible which this one is. He’s got a few dings as shown in the photos, but in amazing condition considering his purpose. I’d love to know the doors that he’s guarded over the years. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions. This is going to be one heavy parcel! Wrapped and packed could make him over 20 lbs. I do sometimes use recycled materials when it warrants.
