Unusual cast iron door stopper depicting a colonial-era hunter wearing his hunting pink and seated with his hunting dog. While the piece is evidently 20th or 21st century, the figure’s attire dates to the 18th or early 19th centuries. The hunter sits on a rock with his faithful partner, holding his gun, and with two game birds next to him. It measures approx 11″ tall x 12″ wide x 3 3/4 deep and weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces.
