A nice old cast iron. Eastern Specialty Co Old Salt Fisherman doorstop. Great original paint with normal signs of wear. No breaks, cracks, repairs or other damage. Measures 14.5 tall and weighs a touch over 13 pounds 5 ounces. Marked Eastern Specialty Co. On the back of the base. A great example fresh from a Connecticut home and new on the market.

The sale is for a large, heavy cast iron Boston Terrier bulldog doorstop. He’s in good condition with age related issues. Scuffs, worn paint, rust spots, used. He is what he should look like in this aged condition but somehow it works. He has some white paint drips on his top. He has been somewhat of a mascot for years, searching for his new home. See all pics for they are part of condition. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Measures 8.5″ X 9.75″ X 4.

It’s a nice quality casting, is an extremely heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The stop is in the form of Lord Nelson, is in nice condition, and measures 16 inches tall by 15 3/4 inches wide by 3 inches back to front.
