Old Large Cast Iron Doorstop. Big scottish terrier door stopper. Makers markings on inside each half. Marked 412 (Hubley #) inside each side. Hard to find piece – two piece flat screws. Please view all pictures to appreciate it. Previously stored in gma bedroom corner as art. Shows minor wear with age over the years. Larger size doorstop, weighs approximately 11lb 12oz. Measures approximately 11 1/2″ tall by 16″ wide. 12oz soda can used to help judge size. Available for private inspection by appointment. Please view all pictures for more information and to judge condition for yourself. Dusty, dirty from sitting in a bedroom corner for years, could use a good cleaning. This is a very nice cast iron antique door stop doorstop. The elephant figure is detailed and realistic. I believe this is the exact mold of Bradley and Hubbard but the back of this piece is marked Davison Co. There is also a number’12’ on the back. Rather large size at slightly over 10 inches tall—heavy too. Would make a nice addition to your collection or use for a door stop! Very good condition with just minor rust to the back.
