Here is a rare Hubley “Flapper” Cast Iron Duck Paperweight or Doorstop designed by Grace Raynor. It is marked Flapper on the front and GR (c) 1922 on the back. It measures approximately 4 and is in excellent condition with signs of use consistent with its age. Please message me with any questions. Since condition is subjective and means different things to different people. Here is a short list of terms we use to describe our items. Rare Magnificent Antique Gilt Cast Iron Peacock Doorstop Fireplace Screen. It is made of 2 separate cast pieces that simply slot together and are nice and tight when slotted. Has what appears to be the original gold gilt painted finish. Seems a bit small for a fireplace screen but might be at 15 high. I absolutely guarantee it is a genuine antique with lots of authentic age. No cracks or chips, excellent condition with a nice aged patina – see my 9 photos.
