Vintage Horse Drawn Carriage Cast Iron Doorstop. Made by Spencer Foundry in Guilford, Connecticut. This horse drawn carriage doorstop is marked “SPENCER GUILDFORD CONN” on the back. It has a wedge with the notches on top, typical of Spencer Foundry. Measures approximately 6-1/8″ long x 2-1/4″ deep x 3-1/2 tall. This is a vintage piece. There are chips to the paint in multiple locations.

We are offering for sale an antique Cast Iron BABY CROSSING GUARD Doorstop. Made by the Spencer Foundry in Guilford, CT. Base is 6 x 6. Condition is very good. No damage or breaks noted. Original paint shows age-correct wear, patina. We are unsure what this was originally meant for. The top of the dogs head has a 1/2 threaded piece with screw on cover. ORIGINAL PAPER LABEL INTACT!
