Vintage Heavy Cast Iron Bay Draft Horse Doorstop 4+ lbs Drafter Percheron

Bay Draft Horse Doorstop. This is a wonderful, heavy draft horse doorstop in bright red bay color, a star, and white fores. He has a blue bow on his tail. This horse is in excellent vintage condition and. There is original paint which has retained its glossiness with light nips of paint loss. The original flat head screw is present but hidden by the coat paint. There are small pieces of felt on the hoof bottoms to protect furniture from scratches. The drafter is 7 3/4 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches long. It weighs over 4 pounds. Thank you for shopping with us. We will do what we can to make everything right! Vintage Rare Detroit TIGERS DOORSTOP/BOOKEND Stadium Seat Baseball Cast Iron

Doorstop measures approximately 8 3/8″ tall x 6 ¾” wide x 2 ½ deep at the base. Piece weighs approximately 3 ¼ pounds. This doorstop was broken at the ankles (Pic 3,4,5,6). It has been repaired at the ankles by gluing it back together. It stands correctly and from the front is difficult to see. It broke along the tiger stripes. I was told to repaint the tiger stripes with black and it would be almost impossible to see the breaks but I will leave that up to the new owner. There is a small mark on the top of the base(Pic 7). Tiger is gripping the Bat in the wide-grip style of Ty Cobb the most ferocious Tiger of them all. This Doorstop is identical to the Tigers that were cast into the frames of the first and last seats of each row of the old Tigers Stadium. A nice piece to add to any Detroit Tigers Memorabilia Collection. Please look at the pictures. Vintage Hubley Cast Iron Boston Terrier Sitting Puppy Door Stop

Little Boston Terrier puppy doorstop. Unmarked but authentic the paper label is missing. Incredibly heavy item for it’s size at approx. The Piece shows a black back and white colored young terrier dog resting on it’s hind-legs. The Figural design shows all its legs, two floppy-ears, dark snout, and a curling tail. A red collar is seen around the dog’s neck. Black paint on the back, and top of the head. White paint on the tip of the snout and under-belly. Measures 5 5/8″ Long x 4 1/2″ High x 2 1/2 Wide. Vintage Cast Iron Sleeping Fox Doorstop. This piece came down through my wife’s family, but she doesn’t remember which side it came from. I believe this example of the classic Sleeping Fox Door Stop may be an antique, but not really sure. This one is not hollowed out underneath like so many of the reproductions are. Also, there is no maker’s mark that I can see. The piece is approximately 7″ long and 4″ wide, and weighs 4 lb. It appears to have been painted blue before it was painted red.
