These are from the old English cartoon about a drunken con man and his wife in. Sloper is depicted wearing a bonnet and holding a baby in each hand with a dog at her feet. Ally Sloper in depicted holding onto his umbrella for stability, he has an oversized nose and a top hat and he is dressed nicely with coattails visible. He also has a small dog at his feet. Sloper stands 10 7/8 tall and 6 1/8 across the base. Total weight is 3.7 lbs. Ally stands 11 1/8 tall and 6 1/8 across the base. Total weight is 3.5 lbs. The condition is shown in the photos. They are in fantastic condition. The enamel is bright, vibrant and appears to be original; only minimal chipping and enamel loss commiserate with age. Ally has a cast number on the back but it is illegible (3rd photo), I can not locate any number on Mrs. Antique/Vintage & Estate Items–These items are not new. This is a superb and original cast iron door stop with the rounded sheep to the base of which. During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century. Of an english origin. Cat iron with the original black finish. To the base: a quite wonderful rounded sheep with its superb detailing. Cast iron handle with the stem attached to the sheep and the handle. It has an overall height o. Max overall size of the rounded sheep of about 7 x 2.75inches. Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes except. Due to age: areas of loss of colour to the doorstop. All as per pictures. Besides being a very collectable, very heavy, architectural doorstop with the rounded sheep to the base from the 19th century, c1880s, would also look fabulous displayed. Uk to the usa: FREE. This Uncle Sam is made entirely of cast-iron and is extremely detailed. He has a wonderful, untouched patina and is a 19th-century piece. He measures approximately 10 inches tall. Ally Sloper Antique Cast Iron Doorstop set of 2 English 19th Century. Being offered for sale is a pair of late 19th century cast iron English doorstops. These are from the old English cartoon about a drunken con man and his wife in. Sloper is depicted wearing a bonnet and holding a baby in each hand with a dog at her feet. Ally Sloper in depicted holding onto his umbrella for stability, he has an oversized nose and a top hat and he is dressed nicely with coattails visible. He also has a small dog at his feet. Sloper stands 10 7/8 tall and 6 1/8 across the base. Total weight is 3.7 lbs. Ally stands 11 1/8 tall and 6 1/8 across the base. Total weight is 3.5 lbs. The condition is shown in the photos. They are in fantastic condition. The enamel is bright, vibrant and appears to be original; only minimal chipping and enamel loss commiserate with age. Ally has a cast number on the back but it is illegible (3rd photo), I can not locate any number on Mrs. Antique/Vintage & Estate Items–These items are not new.
