Rare Antique Hubley Cocker Spaniel Dog Cast Iron Bookend with Orig. Paint Great

I have for sale an antique Hubley cast iron Cocker Spaniel bookend. I initially listed this as a doorstop as it is bigger than the normal bookend. However, it is plenty big enough to have been used as a stop. The bookend still has great original paint, with it being about as nice as you will find. Sweet Vintage Cast Iron Hubley Scotty Scottie Scottish Terrier Doorstop Bookend

This heavy, full-bodied doorstop or bookend was probably made in the 1930’s and has its magnificent, original paint with a traditional black coat, very expressive eyes, a vivid red collar and red mouth, and a vibrant gold buckle on the collar. The mold detail is very crisp. This vintage collectible is unmarked, but is in excellent, near-mint condition with only tiny bits of paint loss and very minor wear. I do not see any damage to the metal. It appears that there may have been felt pads attached to the bottom of the feet at some time. This handsome pup is 5″ tall, almost 6-1/2″ long and 2-1/2 wide.
