Fresh to the market!! This Whimsical Dog Doorstop is straight out of a house in as-found condition. The gentleman who owned the house was an avid clock collector/repairer and this doorstop was sitting against the door in his workshop. It has a beautiful red color, done in old paint that really makes it stand out and gives it a great patina. This is a very rare form done by A. The back is unpainted as is proper for these doorstops, we believe it to be 100% original (save for possibly the red paint which may have been added early on in its life). RARE ANTIQUE CAST IRON HUBLEY BOSTON TERRIER PAW UP DOORSTOP

Rare and hard to find Antique Cast Iron Boston Terrier with Paws Up doorstop circa 1910 and attributed to Hubley Manufacturing Company, Lancaster PA. It measures 9 1/2 tall and weighs almost 6 1/2 lbs. It is original and shows its age with door mark on back from actual use and significant paint loss especially to head and face. Door mark is to paint only and not damage to cast iron. It does have 2 rubber floor guards on bottom and looks to have had 1 other that is missing. I’m not sure if these are original or not.
