Vintage hubley cast iron Monkey w. Wrapped tail doorstop 1930’s brown nice paint. A vintage monkey doorstop in excellent condition. The doorstop is made of cast iron. It does have some wear and some paint loss. Looks like all the paint is original. Has great patina, I have not touched it, could be cleaned up if desired. Made by Hubley, looks to be from the 1930’s or so. Monkey has brown and light tan with reddish inner ears. It measures about and 8 1/2 high. Great addition to your collection. Brown Thoroughbred Horse with Horseshoes. This is a fabulously detailed and well-preserved Hubley Cast Iron Thoroughbred Horse Doorstop in dark brown paint. This horse is in excellent vintage condition and. He has original paint which has retained its original gloss and with very little paint loss. This horse is unique in that he has carefully ridged and painted horseshoes on his feet. The original flat head screws are in neck and belly and still covered by paint. Beautiful Art Nouveau Brown or bronze color Cast Iron Figural Lady Door Stop, measures 9 1/2 inches tall, 7 inches at the widest, and depth of 3 3/8 inches. There are some letter or numbers incised on the back, vertically. I see 0—4 or a name that starts with O. But it is very hard to read. There is an incised number horizontally midway between base and buttocks on the back side. I will attempt to get these in the pictures. No damages to the item, just a beautiful piece.
